Barbour June International Jacket
A special edition of the vintage Barbour International Jacket with a unique twist. The lining is a screened print of the March 1951 cover of Picture Post magazine from the Barbour Archives. The cover features the photo of a joyous woman named June (The Rough Rider) riding a motorcycle & wearing a Barbour Ursula jacket. The photo represents the freedom of youth, particularly women, in the post-war period.
The International Jacket has been in Barbour's range since 1936 & is still the standard in motorcycle gear. This classic jacket provided protection & warmth for the British International Motorcycle team for over 40 years. Steve McQueen wore one in a 1964 competition when he was part of the US team. But you don't have to ride a bike to own one. Practical, timeless & historic - another Barbour can't-go-wrong piece.
