Skirt Measuring Instructions

All skirts are custom made to your measurements, so please be careful & be honest. We've all been there - the surprise when you measure your waist & hips, then telling yourself - "I can lose it before the skirt gets here." You do have some room to move with the kilted skirts because of the buckle & strap closure, but custom-made skirts cannot be returned unless they're defective. The skirt's measurements are checked against the order info before they leave Scotland & checked again here before they're shipped.

Waist - not too tight.
Tummy - 3 - 4 inches down from waist.
Hip - 7 - 8 inches down from waist at widest part of hip.
Length - include the waistband.
**Maximum length for Mini-Kilt is 18". If you want a longer kilt, see the Standard Kilted Skirt.
