Quaichs
Made in Scotland

It is a centuries old Scottish tradition to toast each other with a Quaich. The traditional quaich - from the Gaelic word cuach meaning shallow cup - is shaped like a two-handled bowl and often has Celtic design motif. Called Scotland's Cup of Friendship, it is used as on special occasions, such as Christenings & Reunions, to toast health & happiness. In the Wedding Ceremony, the bride and groom share their first drink together as husband & wife to symbolize the coming together of their two families. The quaich is then passed down from generation to generation, ensuring happiness and good fortune to all who toast from it.

The Irish Wedding Cup has a similar tradition.
