Ardagh Chalice Celtic Warrior Shield Bands
Made in Ireland

Based on the Ardagh Chalice, considered to be the finest specimen of Celtic art ever found. c. 800-899 AD, silver, silver gilt & enamel. Found in 1868 by a small boy digging for potatoes. The Ardagh Chalice is on display at the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin.

Inspired by the intricate knotwork on the Ardagh Chalice. The ring's background has a brushed finish with the knot detail polished. This provides a subtle contrast & a rich antiqued look.

The band at right has a glittering diamond trim & can be set with three Sapphires, Rubies or Emeralds. 14k gold.
