University of California Riverside Pipe Band

In 2000, Mike Terry (below left), pipe major for the UCR Pipe Band, contacted Linda about creating a tartan for the band. Linda designed their tartan incorporating the school's colors of royal blue & gold, then had the tartan woven & the kilts made for the band. The sett was designed so that the back of the kilts, which are pleated to the stripe, has an overall gold tone. When marching, the pleats swing open to reveal the blue. Linda also had the black rabbit sporrans made with the gold cantle to match the tartan and supplied the band with the bag covers & tassels.
